Data Deletion Policy
This policy explains how Quantum Veda users can request account and personal data deletion, what data may be deleted, and what records may be retained for legal, security, payment, certificate, or compliance reasons.
Last updated: 24 June 20261. How to request deletion
Users can submit a deletion request from the Delete Account page using their registered mobile number. The admin team verifies account ownership before processing the request.
2. Data that may be deleted or anonymised
- Login access and active user profile details.
- Optional profile information such as name, email, and mobile where deletion is technically and legally possible.
- Learning profile data that is no longer required for service delivery.
- Support notes that are not required for dispute, fraud, security, or compliance records.
3. Data that may be retained
- Payment, invoice, refund, tax, accounting, and transaction records.
- Certificate, enrollment, completion, quiz, and course access records required for verification.
- Security logs, audit logs, abuse-prevention records, and fraud-prevention records.
- Records required by applicable law, contractual obligations, dispute handling, or platform security.
4. Processing timeline
Deletion requests are reviewed by the admin team after verification. Processing time may depend on payment status, course access status, legal obligations, and technical review.
5. Important notes
- Submitting a request does not instantly delete the account.
- After approval, course access, login access, certificates, progress, and related services may become unavailable.
- If a request cannot be fully completed, Quantum Veda may explain the reason and retain only necessary records.
